A nice addition to any busy kitchen, this two-in-one appliance functions as both a mini food processor and a coffee grinder. To use, simply add coffee beans to the transparent plastic container with the metal bottom, secure it in place, and press the power button to set the durable stainless-steel blade spinning. Coffee beans grind to an even consistency that helps ensure fresh, flavorful coffee. For food processing, the unit comes with a separate transparent plastic container with a rubberized lid and a blade for chopping. Use the mini food processor to chop up nuts, to dice onions and green pepper to toss into a salad or onto a pizza, or to grind up flax seeds for mixing into muffins or as an egg-substitute when baking. The machine's pulse-control button makes it possible to get fast, accurate results every time. Best of all, the appliance provides a space-saving design that can easily be mounted under a cabinet to maintain maximum workspace on the counter. A lid comes included for storing food in the refrigerator, and the two containers and blades remove for convenient cleaning. grinder cup cracks with use
I have had the spacemaker coffee grinder for about 6 mos. The grinder cup showed signs of cracks at about 4 - 6 weeks. It now has a hole in the side from the result of the cracks. This has NOT been abused in use. And has never been used for anything else but coffee beans. I like the design, but I hope I can find a grinder cup replacement. Which I hope lasts longer.
Plastic cracking
The grinder is not bad, but I wish the motor speed was higher so it will gring finer. Also, the platic bowl is starting to crack after only one wash in the upper rack of the dishwasher.
FANTASTIC AND FAST!!!!
I save so much time with this machine! In less than 5 seconds I can grind a cup of pecans to such minute pieces...normally would have taken me over five minutes to accomplish the same. Need to get another as backup for years in the future when I burn this one out!
My only problem is the blade slipped down in the disposal without my knowledge...yep, you guessed it! I am having trouble finding replacement. However, the cost is so inexpensive that to purchase another appliance isn't too bad.
